Thanks for stopping by the website of the Wreck List, the unofficial guild of the Daily Kos community. We are a big, friendly, stable social guild that raids. In fact, we are also usually near the top for 10 man raiding on our server according sites like Wowprogress and Guildox. We've done this well with a relaxed attitude that puts fun first, while sticking to our principles. Heroic Hagara Dead!

Well, team Kaels has overcome a month and a half of absenteeism, vacations, unexpected absences and perhaps a touch of apathy. :P And Lo! Ding-Dong the witch is finally dead. After sporadically putting in work on Heroic Hagara the Stormbinder, we finally killed her. In fact, we one-shot her, as is the Wreck List way. But anyway, yay, she's dead! Wreck List is now 5/8 heroic. Not bad. :)

Pamena I never actually got close enough to her to see her head - is she a worgen or is that a wolf helm or something? Anyway, ...

Cylen Completes Fangs of the Father!

Woo Hoo! Tonight Cylen completed the Fangs of the Father legendary daggers quest line! The two daggers are Golad, Twilight of Aspects and Tiriosh, Nightmare of Ages. According to Wowpedia, the legendary daggers are pretty damn cool:

Rogues who succeed will receive a paired set of daggers that will become increasingly lethal as their bearer progresses along the legendary quest. At the height of their strength, they will be imbued with the vile essence of the Old Gods, as well as the maddened fury of the Black Dragonflight -- bestowing great power upon their bearer. These powers include a stacking increase to Agility which builds until dark wings unfurl from the rogue’s back, removing the combo point cost and increasing damage of finishing moves for a short time. In addition, the wings which can be spread on command (with no combat benefit) to slow a rapid descent, allowing the rogue to slowly fall to the ground… or enact a little death from above!

That's right. Cylen has become The Batman now. Congrats! :)

Heroic Zon'ozz dead!

Team Kaels has now killed Warlord Zon'ozz on heroic mode. Once again, from the healer perspective, this was kind of a nightmare. But who cares, he's dead! We are now 4/8 heroic, w00t! Look out Hagara!

Heroic Ultraxion Down!

Team Kaels got Heroic Ultraxion tonight! We thought we'd get him given we did well on a few pulls on Thursday, but it turns out it was more difficult that we'd anticipated. Although we were ahead of the hard enrage timer, it was very close with the soft enrage, which is the increased damage the last minute or thirty seconds before the end of the fight. But in the end, we squeezed out just enough to beat him, although everyone was dead as he died. DoTs FTW!
